These are the pictures from a two day, 35km hiking trip I went on with some of my coworkers in eastern Taiwan. Great fun, but I had a hard time keeping up with the younger folk. Click on an image to see a full-sized version. These are video stills, so the quality isn't that great.

Starting out into the bamboo.	We rode up the mountain in a truck because the bus wasn't allowed into the park.	There were many small streams to cross; not all were shallow.
Trip organizer, David Wu.	Like I said, sometimes the water was deeper. Only one person fell in though (but not Rong, pictured here).	There was one 50m section of trail that was pretty dangerous due to a landslide. It was a long way down.
